maria cepissakova is a slovakian artist based in munich, currently exhibiting at spazioarte during the munich creative business week. her work moves between art and design, combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary artistic language.
cepissakova‘s artistic journey began at a young age, spending time in her father‘s atelier and her grandfather‘s woodcarving workshop. this early exposure to creative endeavours sparked her interest in artistic pursuits. she went on to study ceramics and porcelain at a traditional art school, further deepening her connection with materials like porcelain and clay.

a range of objects and cups, showcasing cepissakova‘s passion for creating usable objects with artistic expression. the cups on display, from the special edition series „kontrapunkt platinum“, are hand-turned porcelain covered in platinum, each a unique piece. these cups were previously shown at the AD rosewood opening and at the milan design week 2024 for acapulco.
