nf1 - wooden stool

NF1 is a solid wooden stool crafted from locally sourced timber. Each stool is made-to-order and requires several weeks to produce. The wood is first dried, then planed and glued to produce the blanks for the legs and seat of the stool. The legs are then turned to shape and the seat is CNC-milled, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern wood processing techniques. After assembly, each stool is sanded and finished with natural wood oil.

NEW FACETTES is a young design office from Berlin, founded in 2023. With a background in Architecture, our focus lies on the creation of long-lasting objects for everyday use, made from renewable resources and produced locally. We aim to create objects on the threshold between the physical and digital world, making them appear almost unreal.
