interior architect | designer | founder of spazioarte


julian marino botti, born in munich in 1995, graduates in 2018 from the faculty of interior architecture, architecture and design (IAD) at the technical university of rosenheim. in 2017-2018 he works as a tutor at the same university for prof. kilian stauss' rapid prototyping lab. he completes internships in milan at studio denis santachiara and at the munich architecture firm colonn. in the following two years he works for the architecture studio bottizanafredi and as a freelancer for aevum design, occhio and dauphin, among others. he founds the design studio mela.space (today studio spazioarte) and designs objects in collaboration with the designers ludwig eder and antonia hinderegger.


from 2018-2022 he invents the patent-pending 'magnetic bayonet screw', which he uses for modular lighting objects. from 2020 to 2021 he is employed as an interior designer at henn in munich and works on projects for ihm, apple, tum and the deutsche bundesbank. there he gains experience in all phases of performance, mainly in design.

in 2021 he founds the initiative spazioarte, in 2022 he leaves the architecture company henn and dedicates himself to his work as designer and aspiring gallerist for spazioarte.
